Random word/ image association
Random Association is an idea generation method which allows students to systematically generate new ideas through a fixed formula. The whole premise of Random Association is to use a Random Word to provoke a reaction from the brain.
What i understand about this lecture is by seeing an image or word make our brain thinking about it and how to solve a problem about it.
As an example,we been given an exercise in class about How to make a person stop smoking in 6 months and by using this image....
Well,what do you think about it?Of course our mind are running to think about it now.
Actually we can use the color to indicate the danger.Picture below show an example about how the color can works.
Paint different traffic light color like green,yellow and red to show the level of danger.It might be work on certain people who dont want to die early.hoho..

Convergent and Divergent thinking
Convergent thinking - means the ability to give the correct answer to standard questions that do not require significant creativity, for instance in most tasks in school -wikipedia
Divergent thinking - is a thought process or method used to generate creative ideas by exploring many possible solutions.-wikipedia
What i understand about this is both styles of thought are employed in problem solving.
Convergent thinking doesn't need to be creative to solve a problem.In which the person is good at bringing material from a other of sources to solve a problem, in such a way as to produce the correct answer.This kind of thinking is particularly used in science, maths and technology.
Divergent thinking on the other term is a skill is in creative elaboration of ideas and is more suited to artistic way and study in the humanities.

Image of public figure
Our task given is to find a image of public figure.I choose Tunku Abdul Rahman,Malaysia first prime minister as an innovative person.
He often called Bapa Kemerdekaan (Father of Independence) or Bapa Malaysia (Father of Malaysia). Tunku Abdul Rahman led a delegation to London to seek independence for Malaya, but the trip proved to be unfruitful.
Tunku Abdul Rahman proclaimning Malayan independence.Later in 1955 Abdul Rahman made another trip to London to negotiate Malayan independence, and 31 August 1957, was decided as the date for independence. When the British flag was lowered in Kuala Lumpur on independence day, Abdul Rahman led the crowd in announcing "Merdeka!" mean freedom.Every year on 31 August we can see on television Tunku Abdul Rahman raising his hand, and the recordings about Malaysia Independence day with voice leading the cheers, have become familiar icons of Malaysian independence.See him on television every year really make me proud been a Malaysian.( ^.^ )

Well,our task this week is writing a poem.I choose to write about Love and Chilli,Pain and Ice-cream and Life and Candle.
Love and Chilli
Love is like chilli,
The color of chilli make us exited like love,
The taste of it hurts when it too spicy,
Mixing with other ingredient make it more delicious
although it still spicy....like love
Pain and Ice-cream
Pain is like eating ice-cream,
It hurts when we don't have money to pay for it,
It hurts our teeth when its too cold.
Pain will go away after a little while,
Just like a melting ice cream..
Life and Candle
Life is like a candle,
Sometimes life is shaking like wind passed the candle,
Life is beautiful like a fire on the candle.
Anything can happen in our life,just like candle
we don't know if the fire will blow up it self,
Life is shot,just like candle
we know the fire will off anytime..
Well as you can see,i am a terrible poet.haha..
But,im having fun doing it.( ^.^ )

In this week,we were learning about juxtaposition and how people use it to send a message.
Juxtaposition means placing things side-by-side or in similar narrative moments for the purpose of comparison, contrast, rhetorical effect, suspense, or character development.
As an example,this artwork by Gene Guynn show it juxtaposition
by showing to image of woman with different characteristic.
This is another justaposition by using texts.
